This is way late so I won't, but I almost want to drop a comment about the way some pro authors abhor fanfic, and posting/linking our fanfic on a site they (pro authors in general) are known to frequent makes us feel very vulnerable to internet attacks, a la Diana Gabaldon. They might not realize that happens, but it makes us who have been around a while legitimately wary of being dragged into the public.
