What I find interesting is that no one posted fic at Goodreads. They reviewed it and created rec lists much like we do everywhere else (which means they posted the name of the story, the author's fannish name, a link to the story, and in a some cases the cover art). Then later, the Goodreads Librarians' performed Google searches and added links to fan LJs and tumblr blogs to the author profile. We think that in 4-5 cases,where the Google searches raveled links to professional author writing names, those were added the the fan author profile by the Librarians. Once an author claims their bio they can edit it and remove any info they want. And, in the case of fan fiction, the author can contact Goodreads and have all info about their story removed - including the reviews and rec lists.
