Saw that today; it's awesome! A solid ruling that making copies of books for indexing, metadata and research purposes is legal... *sigh* wow, it's so nice to see a court being sane, and rule that "No, dammit, there is no DAMAGE being done here, and there's a lot of useful activity, so no, this is not an infringement."
