Syn Ferguson Has Passed Away

 Syn Ferguson passed away on Dec 9, 2016. I reached out to her quilting group and they confirmed it (they did not provide any further details). She was 74 years old.

 

I had hoped to interview her for the oral history project this summer.

Hiya,

I went to read and you have her city as Clamas. It's actually Camas, just as an FYI. (I live near Portland and it's nearly a suburb.)

Reading your message is like losing a loved one. I never knew Ms Ferguson, but her stories opened a whole new world for me, even more than 30 years ago when I first read Sun and Shadow
