I keep trying to make this mentally fit within a reasonable framework and am struggling. I know Abuse has been overrun with links to commercial fic and patreon requests. And there are very good reasons for AO3 to remove those links to protect the archive for a host of legal problems.
"A fanwork for AO3 purposes cannot be a single link to an offsite work, even if its a fanwork" seems pretty easy to explain. Why then all the other hoops she has to jump through now? Why the requirement for Fanlore links for her fanzine fic? Why the extra citations and permissions for the artwork?
And why the single nuclear strike without any attempt to talk to her. Or keeping the permanent strike against her forever?
