Looking For Volunteer Transcriptionists & Phone Interviewers
The Media Fandom Oral History Project is in its 6th year. This summer we were graced with a wonderful intern, Megan Genovese who was able to dedicate full time to the project. We are now looking for fans willing to transcribe the summer 2017 interviews which are 1 - 2 hrs long. You can work at your own pace.
We are also looking for 2-3 more interviewers to help interview those fans who were not able to schedule a slot with Megan over the summer. The interviews would be conducted over the phone using a dial in conference call system.
The commitment is modest - we’re looking for someone to do 2 interviews a month over the phone. You would be responsible for contacting the fans, collecting the permission forms and scheduling a time to be interviewed. The interviews are 1-2 hrs long.
