Google groups cannot import messages, so you would be starting fresh with links back to an online folder with the old files. You would essentially pick any storage service and upload the files there and give access to people. The best method is to pay for the $25 PGOffline license and export the messages as html files which can be read online. You can grab the free version now and start downloading and worry about which storage options later.
