Okay, folks, I watched Single All The Way, which is essentially Christmas fluff slash fic on screen. I watched it twice. Tags include: friends to lovers, oh my god they were roommates, fake boyfriends but only briefly, meddling family, the nieces ship it, blind date, Christmas fluff, amateur modelling, pining, there was only one bed, plants, children’s author. I would bet Any Money that the writer has scrolled through the m/m Christmas tag on AO3 for inspiration.

Other (non-fannish) friends have been talking up this one as the sweet "really cute,totally adorable cheesy RomCom Christmas movie" that the doctor ordered for today. Good to know it feels like it was influenced by classic material!
