I took the book rec from here and just finished reading this book, and now I've put a hold on the sequel at my library. If you read it some time maybe we'll discuss it.

There were many things I liked about this book, but the ending left me feeling a bit unsettled, like the story should go further...and then I saw your comment here that there is a sequel, so I've gone and placed a hold on the sequel through my local library.
