Queued Post: Help Save Yahoo Groups By Creating YahooIDs

First off, a huge thank you to everyone working on the Yahoo! Groups . This week the Archive Team learned that Verizon had blocked their access to 80% of the groups that they were hoping to archive.  For the fandom community, this represents 100% loss of access to the groups that we had submitted to the Archive Team for preservation . A call went out a few days ago for volunteers and we received a good number of them . Please consider pitching in helping before the December 11 deadline.

What we now need are people to create more YahooIDs for others. (If you are planning to volunteer to actually archive Groups, help us by creating your own Gmail and YahooID).

Step 1. Create a new dedicated Gmail account (create only one becauses there are lifetime limits)
Step 2: Create a YahooID using the new Gmail account. Below the main YahooID email box (where it asks you use a Yahoo email to set up your YahoID) there is tiny little print that says: "use your existing email address". Plug in the new Gmail account and fill in the info.

Since we're sharing these log-ins these need to be dedicated Gmails and Yahoo ID. In other words, don't use your personal Yahoo ID or Google email. Once you make a gmail and Yahoo ID (use the same log in and password for both), email us the log in information (both the log in and password for both).
