I just made my first vid this past October. I'm going to remaster it, but this is the original (and current, to date) version. My friend nobunnies and I threw some BSG clips together to a hip-hop song just for laughs one afternoon, but it was so infectious that I went ahead and made a whole vid from it for kicks. It ended up being a really fun, not-serious way for me to see if vidding was something I seriously wanted to learn. And it was :-)
Song: "Goodies" by Ciara Fandom: Battlestar Galactica, Starbuck/Boomer Download: at my website (http://jarrow272.inverteddungeon.com), [right-click and save here] (http://jarrow272.inverteddungeon.com/videos/goodies.wmv) (wmv, 23 MB)
Now that I've moved on from Windows Movie Maker, I grimace at the "well, the only way to slow it down was half-speed" moments and how I spent an entire verse doing an Ode to Guns because I simply couldn't find enough source to fill the song (which will be cut down to 3 minutes in the remaster, thankyouverymuch). But such is the shame of first vids. Good times.
