Posting to DW By Email

 in order to post to DW from tumblr I have to use DW post  by email service which works great.   problem is that all the formatting gets stripped from the DW post

I need help figuring out if this is a problem with the IFTT recipe that grabs the tumblr post and sends it to DW or if it is DW stripping the formatting.

any help appreciated.

DW post-by-email requires HTML or Markdown (or at any rate it requires Markdown, and HTML still seems to work). That's as far as my knowledge extends.

OK, and the tumblr post is in html and I just checked my DW sent email folder and those messages are also in html. I will do another test.

I think the error is how DW is "reading" the text. I did a few tests and then copied and paste the message from out sent box and the formatting was kept.

I'll sed a bug report to DW
