Nielsen Families: Is This Correct?

If I understand this, the tech used by Nielsen families is so intrusive. They don't monitor by what you watch by the old method (what are you tuning into/what you are playing on your DVR) - they listen for all audio to capture radio, phone, TV, laptop etc. They use content audio ID matching to determine what shows/movies/streaming you are watching. And it is set up in every room (if you have a TV in your bedroom) and also on every device. And when you leave the home or go to work
